Starting back in 2018, Annie was home for winter break when she found Allister, who was living in Dallas; on a dating app, both swiped right, a match made in heaven, but nothing happened. They had followed each other on instagram but minimal conversation was had.
This was an occurrence that would occasionally happen over the next four years. A match would happen, a pickup line would be dropped, yet no dates to be had.
After years of being interested in each other and one another on social media, one might think they would have finally gone on a date. But no.
Finally in 2022, both Allister and Annie were single, and the final match occurred. Annie asked Allister on bumble, how he felt about the game UNO, he bragged about how he would always beat his brothers, and the two decided it was time to get a drink together.
Initially Allister asked for that weekend, but Annie was planning on having a fabulous weekend with her friends and was busy, but they decided to make plans for the next week and Allister told Annie to show her friends a good Texas time.
And that good time shown she did, after a concert she brought her friends to Louie Louies Piano Bar in Dallas, and lone behold Allister was there. Annie and Allister spotted each other from across the bar and met at at the middle. Both knew in that moment there was something special here, that they were each others person, it was cosmic. A feeling of “when you know, you know” that they had always been told about, but didn’t understand until that moment.
The two chatted and decided that their first date would be that following Tuesday. That Tuesday was not just any Tuesday, it was a once in a lifetime day of 2/22/22 (on a Tues-day). If one believes in angel numbers which are signs from the universe to show one’s path, they know that a repeating 2 or 222 means “balance, collaboration, harmony, and love” or that you are at the right place at the right time. That date was just that, Annie and Allister had the best time closing down the restaurant and closing down the bar after that. [And taking the photo above]
Since then the two have been inseparable. Moving in together two months after the first date and getting Charlie at the same time.
Living happily ever after since, Annie, Allister, Cooper, and Charlie.
We would like to thank both of our parents in getting us here. Being the best examples of not only what it is to love but what it is to be loved. We thank Brian, Lisa, DeAnn, and Walt everyday for helping shape and raise us into the match we are today. Without them our story could have gone very differently.
